So we offer a rich training opportunities for young people with us. We have on the one hand the technical education field and on the other side the commercial area. Overall, we eight different jobprofiles for our company. We currently have 35 trainees in action with us, the relationship of industrial-technical to commercial apprenticies is about 2: 1. Overall, it is so that we a selection procedure every year for about 200 applications for filling our vacancies. I think that this fact is not due to chance, but has to do with the fact that EMG already over decades set a very high priority on the subject of training. Of course it is our first and foremost goal the education about the content of the job profile, but we are well aware, that a good apprenticeship contains much more. That’s why we have different programs and actions that we make possible for our trainees. In addition, we have, for example, set up an apprentice exchange program with our parent company the SMS. This exchange takes place on both sides. So that means, 2 apprentices of the EMG visit the SMS over a few weeks and learn there for example, how the gearbox construction is carried out in practice at SMS or get to know the different processes in comparison to EMG. Then we have international stays, which we make possible for our trainees. Most recently, 2 trainees were at our foreign subsidiaries in Italy and also India. At the EMG I get a beyond a good professional training and apprenticeship even much more. The training itself is legally regulated by the educational framework plan. The content of the training, which is ultimately taught, is defined therein. For this reason, our international orientation has no direct influence on training for the moment. But through various programs, e.g. through stays abroad and the like, we naturally also have an interest in ensuring that the training also runs in this direction. This is why we offer, for example through the EMG Academy a variety of continuing education programs also for apprentices. This means, for example, that English courses can be attended there , which are then also used, among other things, when when e.g. foreign interns are visiting here, who are then ultimately also taken care of by our own trainees in their free time and during their working time. This gives our trainees the opportunity to get to know the intentional flair of the company in addition to their actual training. I started my training at EMG myself in 1985. Reasons were among others because EMG has a very good reputation for apprenticeships in the local region. The training is very well-founded, you have to work with interesting people. You work together in a great team. You’ll also be able to work very early in the workshop and your are planned in the prduction. It means you learn to know the products from the beginning on and therefore it is interesting time that one has here in the company during the apprenticeship.
