This is a Skiving knife case that I created when I was a beginner. I have a lot of memories, but it’s not very cool. This time I made a new case. Here it is. This is a belt type case. It’s easy to put in and out because 2mm thick leather is sandwiched between them. I made a pattern so that a 35mm wide knife could be inserted. The pattern can be downloaded from the overview section. The leather material used 「shonan reather」 from Japan. The thickness is 2㎜. Fixing the pattern, marking the sewing hole and cutting the leather. Finish the edge first, which makes the work difficult after assembly. Connect the marks copied from the pattern and make sewing holes. Glue the parts together Let’s sew the body This is the last step. I will finish all the edges Repeat polishing and sanding, and when the edge is ready, melt in the wax. Finally, drop off the extra wax and finish the edge.
